FMDQ Private Markets, in fulfilment of its vision, offers robust, seamless and efficient Noting Service, which provides an opportunity for private companies to access short to long-term capital in the Nigerian debt market.
The Debt Noting Service is an information repository for the primary and secondary debt capital market activities of private companies. The service is offered through a restricted access portal – the Private Companies’ Securities Information and Distribution Portal.
To support private companies and by ensuring their inclusion in the Nigerian capital markets for the benefit of institutional investors, the debt securities of the private companies are issued to institutional investors via private placements, through eligible Transaction Sponsors, upon the satisfaction of key criteria contained in the FMDQ Private Markets Noting Guidelines. The availability of information on these securities is restricted to institutional investors.Â
We offer this Service for various private debt products such as bonds, sukuk, promissory notes, amongst others.
