The Meeting, which held on Friday, December 16, 2016, at The Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos, provided a platform for updating and deliberating on key issues pertinent to the effectiveness of the FMDQ markets. The session commenced with a presentation on FMDQ’s Market Development and Regulation initiatives, followed shortly by updates on the FMDQ-led Debt Capital Market Development Project and the deployment of the OTC Exchange’s proprietary market system.

This highly interactive meeting afforded FMDQ’s Members the opportunity to collectively interact, review and pass resolutions on issues relevant to the development of the FMDQ markets as well as the Nigerian financial markets as a whole.

Further to its commitment to drive market and product development, and in its capacity as a market organiser, FMDQ, through the collaborative efforts of its Members will continue to shape the markets, in line with international standards. The Meeting concluded with a networking cocktail reception.
